Lamb Offals Tongue - Long Cut Tongue - Short Cut Liver Kidney Heart   Rendering      Castricum rending processes offal and boning room material from abattoirs and boning rooms situated close to our Dandenong location. We process only beef and lamb material. The mix of raw material is approximately 50% beef and 50% lamb. The mix of material remains relatively stable throughout the year, while the volume varies with the seasonal kill. Tallow FFA 2% maximum FAC 11C maximum Bleach 0.15 R average Moisture 0.3% average   Product Distribution   MEAT & BONE MEAL - Sold in bulk containers F.O.B. Melbourne or bulk exworks domestic. Castricum MBM is used by poultry feed manufactures for the production of chicken feed pallets. Castricum MBM is sold domestically to companies such as Inghams and Steggles and is exported throughout Asia and China by commodity brokers, most of which are members of the AUstralian Renderers Association. BLOOD MEAL - Sold in either 25kg bags or 1 tonne bags. Most of Castricums blood meal is sold domestically for use in poultry and pig feed mills. TALLOW - Sold in bulk delivered Melbourne. Castricum tallow is sold to both domestic users and exporters who find our tallow consistenly good for bleaching.
